Curcumin Resveratrol Liquid Extract Synergy

Curcumin and Resveratrol Synergy

Both curcumin and resveratrol are natural polyphenol compounds found in Turmeric and fruits such as grapes that have generated enormous scientific interest for their therapeutic roles in various diseases, including cancer, nervous system regeneration, Alzheimer’s, obesity and preventing cellular aging.

Curcumin and resveratrol from Grape Extract synergy
Researchers have demonstrated that when curcumin and resveratrol are combined, the synergy between them produces antioxidant activity far greater than that of the 2 compounds if used individually. While more research is underway to explain the positive partnerhsip between these 2 compounds, one study has shown that when curcumin is combined with resveratrol then the bioavailabilty of resveratrol is improved via slowing the metabolism and breakdown of resveratrol into its inactive metabolites. The natural synergy between these 2 natural compounds was also found to be enhanced when combined in a nano emulsion form in several studies, even when applied on the skin.

In a study entitled “Curcumin and resveratrol inhibit nuclear factor-kappaB-mediated cytokine expression in adipocytes” researchers studied the link between the anti-inflammatory effects of resveratrol and curcumin and obesity. Excess body fat has been shown to create low-level, chronic inflammation that feeds autoimmune diseases such as or Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism, an autoimmune thyroid disease. The study found that the synergistic combination of resveratrol and curcumin significantly reduced inflammation caused by excess fat tissue.

Natural medicine practitioners are at the forefront of combining curcumin and resveratrol in the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory conditions to assist our bodies innate healing and anti-inflammatory mechanisms in multiple forms of inflammatory damage and degeneration, from osteoarthritis of the knees to neuronal conditions of the brain.

Both curcumin and resveratrol have been shown to be highly safe, synergistic and inexpensive alternative therapies that may be of benefit in maintaining health and prevention of conditions such as:

  • Neural protection and regeneration
  • Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Parkinsons disease
  • Depression

Cancers and tumours:

  • Cancers and tumors
  • Cigarette smoke induced cancer
  • Protecting non-cancerous cell damage in radiotherapy

Inflammatory conditions:

  • Osteoarthritis and arthritic conditions
  • Inflammatory bowel disease

Chronic disease and conditions of ageing:

  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Liver health
  • Obesity
  • Heavy metal chelation
  • Viral infections
  • Premature ageing of the skin
  • Hair fall and premature greying
  • Diabetes and many more…
