Rainforest Herbs Body Hack MCT Oil and KetoCreme powder provide concentrated liquid energy fuel. MCT’s are a unique fatty acid found in many foods but having their highest concentration in only Coconut Oil and Palm Kernal Oil. MCT’s function in the human body in a way that is increasingly important in today’s industrialized society where foods are excessively processed and refined. Until recently only traditional diets contained sufficient MCT’s but research over the past 20 years has revealed MCT’s supply fast energy for body and brain not dependent on insulin and not causing weight gains. A global dietary revolution in understanding the role of MCT’s and healthy fats like Coconut Oil is underway.

Humans have evolved overly efficient “fat storage” mechanisms that are triggered by excessive carbohydrate consumption. This tendency has allowed humans to survive by building up fat reserves that can be utilized for energy during periods of famine brought on by seasonal changes, such as winter or drought. In modern living we are surrounded by highly refined carbohydrates and sugars 24/7 so our bodies rarely if ever make the metabolic switch to the fat burning efficiency our ancient ancestors took for granted. Relying solely on refined carbohydrates for energy is a main cause of the modern day epidemics of obesity, metabolic disease, type 2 diabetes and heart disease. Our Rainforest Herbs Body Hack MCT Oil supports the switch to thermogenesis by triggering metabolism and fat burning making it the most important addition to a healthy weight loss or ketogenic diet.Malaysia - Body Hack MCT Oil

To get the full benefits of balanced blood sugar regulation and energy, MCT Oil is taken first thing in the morning, especially in drinks such as our Body Hack Bulletproof MCT Coffee to support the switch from fat storage to fat burning. By providing energy in the form of easily digestible fats we avoid the difficulty of fasting where our bodies become energy deficient, resulting in the catabolism of our existing muscle protein and loss of muscle mass. Alternately, take 1 hour before exercise to raise thermogenisis, athletic performance and endurance by sparing glycogen, and prolonging the availability of important stores of carbohydrate.

Because they provide fast nutrition MCT’s are used in modern medicine for treating food absorption disorders in diseases of the digestive system and after surgery. They’ve also been used in medically monitored ketogenic diets for neuronal disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and epileptic seizures in children. In critically ill patients who can no longer digest fats then MCT’s are also administered intravenously. Athletes have also been using MCTs for many years for energy support during training, as well as for decreasing body fat and increasing lean muscle mass. MCT Oil also supports the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins such as Vitamins A, D, E & K.

What is MCT Oil?

Oils and fats are categorized by how many carbons they have. MCT’s have between 6–12 carbons and long-chain fats have between 13 to 21. The lower the number the easier they are to digest with the optimal MCT’s for fast energy and ketogenesis being caprylic (C8) and capric (C10) acids. Coconut oil is the richest natural sources of MCT’s including lauric acid, an important MCT for immunity and to assist the body destroy harmful pathogens such as bacteria, viruses and yeasts. Lauric acid however is not broken down into energy as fast as caprylic and capric acid and as such is removed along with the long chain fatty acids during the fractionation process of Coconut Oil to produce the pure C8 & C10 medium chain triglycerides in Body Hack MCT Oil.

The MCT’s caprylic and capric acid have a small molecular structure with high water solubility and are metabolized directly from the small intestine and transported to the liver to be utilized as energy and not stored as fat. Long chain triglycerides (LCT’s) on the other hand are not water soluble and must be packaged into lipoproteins that circulate in the bloodstream and follow a complex route of digestion and assimilation, ultimately being stored as adipose fat. Little of LCT’s are utilized as available energy and LCT’s do not pass the blood brain barrier or support brain function.

Only MCTs function as true fuel to support bodily and cellular functions:

MCT’s are turned into ketones that the muscles and brain can use for energy.

MCT’s are used for raising metabolism and thermogenesis.

MCT’s are converted directly to ATP, the energy currency of the cell.

How to consume MCT’s?

Body Hack MCT OIl: Take 1 teaspoon twice daily. May be taken directly as it has no taste or smell, or blended into drinks, salad dressings, sauces or soups.

KetoCreme MCT Powder: Take 1 scoop twice daily. Blends perfectly with your morning bulletproof coffee (BPC) and creates a rich creamy taste.

If you have never used MCT Oil or MCT Powder before, start with half the normal amount and gradually increase over the first week. You know if you have had too much too soon if you experience loose bowels! Refrigeration for MCT Oil will remain liquid at room temperature.

So which is better MCT Oil or Coconut Oil?

MCT Oil contains 100% of the 2 fastest metabolizing MCT’s while Coconut Oil contains approx. 65% 3 MCT’s with the main one being Lauric acid (C12) that is converted in the body to monolaurin, a potent strengthener of immunity. Lauric acid however breaks down slowly compared to the MCT’s Caprylic (C8) and Caprylic (C10) fatty acids and does not result in rapid energy and ketones in a comparable way. Our MCT Oil and MCT Powder contain pure Caprylic Acid (60%) and Capric Acid (40%) t0 provide the ketogenic “body hack” that promotes fast energy, weight loss and assists brain and memory. To achieve a transition to ketogenic fat burning, MCT Oil only will push you to achieve fast results, saving you time and money.

NOT ALL MCT OILS ARE THE SAME!

Read the labels to know what kind of MCT Oil is used. Our liquid and powder MCT Oil is of a far higher purity than many cheap MCT Oils that are actually only liquid (or fractionated / winterized) coconut oil. If your MCT Oil does not specify that it contains a 60/40 ratio of Caprylic and Capric acid, then it is actually only basic fractionated coconut oil that has had some of the Lauric acid removed to maintain liquidity at room temperature. Other cheap MCT Oil originate from China and are made from Rapeseed Oil and other vegetable oils and also have a low purity of less than 90% MCT’s along with long chain fatty acids and possible solvents. Our MCT Oil is completely pure and made by physical (non chemical process) and contains 50% more Caprylic Acid than regular fractionated coconut oil. Note: Fractionated coconut oil usually still contains up to Lauric acid (>11%), Myristic Acid (>4%) and Palmitic Acid (>2%), yet unfortunately the manufacturers do not disclose the exact fatty acid composition on their product labels. Many of the US brands, especially those sold cheaply, are doing this.

How to make our Body Hack Bulletproof MCT Coffee?

MCT Bulletproof Coffee with MCT OIl, MCT Powder and Coconut ButterStep 1:

Start with 1 cup of hot black coffee (no sugar).

Step 2:

Add  1 teaspoon of coconut source Body Hack MCT Oil or alternately 1 scoop of KetoCreme MCT Powder and 1 tablespoon of YumYum Organic Coconut Butter and stir. Coconut Butter is ideal because of its high fat content (more than 60% fat) plus coconut meat fiber and has a rich creamy taste. The Coconut Butter may be substituted with coconut milk (approx. 20% fat) or grass-fed organic butter or cream if preferred and no milk or dairy allergy exists (many people are unaware that they have a dairy intolerance and if allergies, autoimmune issues are a problem then it may be a contributing factor).

The important point is that NO SUGAR is used, as sugar will activate insulin and defeat the purpose of your morning bulletproof coffee. The goal is in activating a fat burning ketogenic state rather than sugar burning one. Decreasing our sweet cravings and need for sweetened drinks is one of the best things we can do for our long-term health and that of our family as well. The preferred no calorie sweetener that can be used on occasions is stevia for those who need to be weaned off sweeteners gradually. Also high quality black coffee only is used and never use sweetened 3 in 1 coffee as it is full of sugar and multiple chemicals. Brewing your own real coffee is a worthwhile investment to make bulletproof coffee a part of your daily ritual. Initially, instant black coffee may be used but this can never compare with real freshly ground coffee.

Coffee of course, contains caffeine and it is important to know your limits as caffeine is a double edged sword. At the right dosage caffeine improves brain function and metabolism and the antioxidants in coffee also have many well documented protective effects on health. However, not everyone metabolizes caffeine in the same way and what is considered a healthy dose for one is an overdose for others. You know you have had too much if your mental alertness has become obsessive worry or if you are having sleeping issues. If you are a “slow metabolizer” of coffee then only have coffee in the mornings and never later than 2 pm as it may still be in your system when you are trying to fall asleep.

What is the manufacturing process of our Body Hack MCT Oil?

Our MCT Oil is a high technology product produced by esterifying glycerol with Caprylic (C:8) and Capric (C:10) fatty acids. These MCT’s are fractionated from 100% Coconut Oil which is then hydrolized to yield the medium chain fatty acids and glycerol. The glycerol is reserved, and the fatty acids undergo distillation to separate them into fractions of their subsequent chain lengths. The Caprylic Acid and Capric Acid fractions are then re-esterified with glycerol to form our Body Hack MCT Oil. This technique was first developed over fifty years ago when it was discovered as an energy source for patients with fat malabsorption syndrome and has entered into numerous medical nutritional products since then. Because of its high purity our Body Hack MCT Oil has remarkable oxidative stability with a long shelf life.

Our MCT Oil is not to be confused with the

What is the manufacturing process of our KetoCreme MCT Powder?

Our MCT Powder is produced from 100 % pure MCT Oil from Coconut and/or Palm Kernal Oil which is then spray dried onto a matrix of gluten free tapoica starch and glyceryl monostearate (from vegetable fatty acids and glycerol) that micro-encapsulates the oil converting it into a free flowing powder. Due to our advanced processing technology we are able to achieve a 70% oil loading with minimal starch requirement. Each scoop contains almost 2 teaspoons of pure MCT Oil with only 2.4grams of carbohydrate. All MCT powders are produced in a similar way and require a starch for the spray drying process. KetoCreme Powder should be kept tightly sealed in a dry place and away from moisture. It may also be kept in the fridge however this is not necessary.

Why is your MCT Powder from Palm Kernal and / or Coconut source? Because of the increased costs from the spray drying process we decided affordability is the key for our customers. Using our conventional MCT Oil allows for a lower cost powder with the same benefits and gives the convenience of choice between using the oil or powder for different times and goals in your keto diet lifestyle.

What’s a body hack?
