We are focused on the research and development of tropical rainforest plants into botanical based products for the world nutraceutical, herbal and biotechnology industries.

 

Our Technical Team includes experienced ethnobotanists / herbalists and phytochemists, with a rich background in ethno medical research having developed products with huge potential in various areas, such as in male sexual dysfunction, arthritis and hyperlipidemia, as well as ongoing research in the area of anti-infectives. In the natural kingdom all infection causing organisms have naturally occurring predators, awaiting discovery.

 

Through our ethnobotanical studies we select the most promising plants based on their traditional usage and pharmacological understanding of their constituents. This information is then screened and the research project is selected. This involves identification and isolation of biologically active chemical entities in the plant. From here further laboratory / clinical studies are conducted for safety and efficacy. This knowledge can be incorporated into either a standardized extract, herbal compound formulation or to proceed to the next stage of Applied Research in the long-term development of proprietary biotech products and pure compounds.
