Our Rainforest Herbs project began in 1994 as an ethnobotanical and pharmacological study into tropical medicinal plants conducted by a group of scientists, medical herbalists and traditional healers. Since that time more than 20 core products have been developed from tropical herbs and scientifically studied in various localities globally for safety and efficacy.

All products are registered with the Malaysian Ministry of Health. Rainforest Herbs products are currently also manufactured in Japan for the Japanese market. In the Year 2000 the company Asia Botanicals was formed as the principle manufacturing and marketing arm, so that Rainforest Herbs could focus exclusively on ongoing research and development of the world's undiscovered tropical medicinal plants

Our Logo: The Tree of Life

This ancient geometric symbol is known as the “tree of life” and represents our interconnectedness and inseparability from nature and the whole. In the East it is believed to increase life force energy. To us, it symbolizes the essential role of the rain forest to all life, especially considering its current rate of destruction and the need for humanity to embrace a greater appreciation of this irreplaceable and sensitive ecosystem.
